Mini fritters with honey cream

  • 1 cup G&J honey
  • 8 20cm wheat flour tortillas
  • Canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup crème fraiche
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
Mini fritters with honey cream


Cut each tortilla with a cookie 10cm circular cookie cutter. Double each side of the tortilla to the opposite side connecting them in the center, forming a sort of a "bag". Heat about 2.5cm of oil in a big frying pan. When it's hot, fy each "bag" until it gets a golden tone. Put them on pieces of paper to remove the excess of oil. Let them cool down. Afterwards, put ½ a cup of honey in a small recipient. Once the "bags" hav cooled down, paint each one delicately using the honey.

Una a small pan, heat the remaining ½ cup of G&J honey at low heat, until it can be easily mixed. Add the crème fraiche and the cinnamon. Keep mixing until all the ingredients are perfectly mixed. Serve the fritters with a little honey cream on top or put it aside to be used as a dip.

*To give them a more entertaining look, you can cut the tortillas with a smaller star-shaped cutter.
