Honey eggplant sticks

  • 1 well washed eggplant
  • salt
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 200 ml very cold water
  • olive oil
  • G&J honey
Honey eggplant sticks


Cut the tail and the bottom of the eggplant. Peal it and cut it in slices similar to french fries. Put it in a bowl cover it with salt and let it rest for about 30 minutes. Heat a frying pan with oil to fry.

In another bowl put the flour and pour slowly water. Mix vigorously with a whisk to smooth.

Put each eggplant stick in the dough and fry it. Take it out in a plate with absorbing paper to remove the excess of oil.

Serve and dress with honey to taste.
